AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE! In the shadows of black-and-white night, Jack Russell races to halt the sacrifice of a young girl at the hands of monsters. Elsa Bloodstone, in all her colorful monster-hunting glory, isn't far behind. But can they put their differences aside long enough to save the day? And what would such a partnership even look like?

BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg

Welcome to Meh by Night. Jack Russell has been a favorite of mine since the late 70s and Power Records. Elsa Bloodstone since early 2000s with Nextwave. Derek Landy was decent enough on All Out Avengers. This is my first Fran Galan. All this combined for a book that I read. Story was straight forward barebones effort. Good guys over narrate their individual stories, stop generic bad guy. Art was a nice blend of cartoony and Gene Colon. I don't understand why the entire book was black and white except Elsa and some red eyes. It worked fine on DisneyPlus movie, but it does not work for comics. Pick a lane and go with it because color Ads mixed with random color Elsa, is obnoxious. Just a super middle of the road effort, that was not worth the time for $6.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
