Who is the mysterious Russian scientist Dr. Molotov and why is he hunting Geiger? And how does this tie all the way back to the American Revolution? Get ready to put on your hazmat suit and find out!"

BONUS REVIEW by Sean Hronek

Did you read Geiger when it first came out?
Did you read the trade at any point since?
No?
Then this is the perfect opportunity to fix that. Seriously, this is just a damn good comic at every level. Well-written, fun, interesting, just a joy to look at... You really can’t do better. This is the first of a two-part story telling the origin of the titular character. Being relatively self-contained, it should be easy enough for new readers to pick up and follow.
You should also pick up the trade of the original Geiger while you’re at it. While not necessary to understand what’s going on in Ground Zero, it is nonetheless 160 pages long and only costs 10 dollars. For Gary Frank’s artwork alone, that’s a steal.
Look forward to hearing from me again in January for Ghost Machine #1!

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
