BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

This is a high concept book that works really really well* (*until the last page.) The concept is that the British government has been tracking the exceptional children who are the off spring of one of their super spies. As he's been making them for years with a variety of exceptional women, they are the ones best suited to replace him when he's killed in the line of duty. It all pays off much better than the cover would suggest. The kicker? It's a book created by SNL cast member Taran Killam, who uses his Bond substitute in a fairly serious way instead just playing for laughs. The last pages weakens a great idea a great deal, unless what happens factors in over the course of the series as to HOW or WHY it happens.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
