'THE OZ EFFECT' part one! The agents of the mysterious Mr. Oz begin to move as the Man of Steel works to stop the chaos they unleash in Metropolis and across the globe. But when Mr. Oz steps from the shadows his identity rocks the Last Son of Krypton to his core. The story that began in DC Universe: Rebirth #1 begins to end here!
Date Available: 09/13/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Mr. Oz has been been causing disruptions in Superman's world since issue #32 of the New 52. He's powerful enough to capture Doomsday, smart enough avoid detection, sneaky enough to stay off Superman's radar, and cunning enough to have a plan so terrible that Superman can't help the people put at risk.

We find out exactly WHO he is in this issue. We don't know why he's doing what he's doing. That will come. For now, the repercussions of the reveal will jar Superman forever. That's big enough, right? You'll start to get some Rebirth answers here. They may not be the ones you're expecting. Excellent work by Dan Jurgens and Vicktor Bogdanovic (doing a better Greg Capullo than Capullo did on 'Metal').

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
