Aliens Fire and Stone #3 (2014) $4.50 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Chris Roberson (A) Patric Reynolds (CA) David Palumbo With their numbers dwindling and hopes for rescue fading, the desperate survivors on the strange planet known as LV-223 fight among themselves. A lone scientist may hold the key to their freedom, though-if everyone can live long enough to hear him out! Ties in with the Prometheus and Aliens films! • From critically acclaimed writer Chris Roberson! • An exciting new direction for Aliens! Date Available: 11/26/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
More excellent work this month from Roberson and Reynolds. The attack on the colony on LV-426 has forced a group off planet to a moon, LV-223. There, they continue to find evidence that a mysterious black goo is causing rapid evolution to anything it touches. This includes man. We see the result in the first alien/human hybrid. Understandably, its far worse than simply being attacked by a xenomorph. Redemption falls short, there's a spectacular splash page with an old friend, and a scientist continues his 'Castaway' styled discussions/debates with his Wilson, a probe still active from 'Prometheus'. This is a moody, creepy piece of work. More please. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
