ORIGINAL SIN tie-in! The radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his powers bit someone else, too! Who is Silk and where has she been? Don't miss this incredible new character who will be a major Spider-player for the whole year!

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Ret-conning is tricky business. Does it work? Is a deeper explanation needed for everything in comics? Are you eliminating a marriage so an old lady can live so that the second best run on Amazing Spider-Man is pretty much erased? These are all questions you should ask before you do a big ret-con. Knowing the ill will earned by the biggest, stupidest Spider-Man ret-con (way worse than that Gwen/Norman business), we get one that is arguably bigger in this issue. Is it necessary- no, only to get to the big spider-crossover event. Is it good? Yah, it really is. We'll save the surprise for when you read it, but it establishes that the biggest events of JMS run on Amazing not only happened, but still have weight and long term importance to them. I vote 'yes' to...well, you'll see. Good work from Slott and Ramos here.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
