Wow. Talk about dealing with the uncomfortable aftermath of the choices we make in our lives. This 6-part series, which ends here, drops the bomb on that discussion, giving us all of the hard questions while returning no easy answers (like, even, who Archie should marry). The art fits squarely in the Archie-comics mode, but the writing, delivery, and topics are real world. Being married, I appreciate the pinches of advice given to handle spousal spats; but handling relationships with dear friends, too, is front and center. Any minute life could pummel everything Archie, and seeing that looming hammer, and his always-positive attitude, drives this story. Not escapist, for sure, Archie Comics hits it outside the park with this series. Give it a try.
I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
