The fascinating history, decade by decade, of the major comics company Archie. A behind the scenes look at the creation of Archie, his sexy girlfriends and his pals, Jughead to Reggie. Plus everything you wanted to know about the Golden Age superheroes, and more. Artist and writer bios and tons of rare and unpublished art by masters like Bob Montana, Dan DeCarlo, Samm Schwartz, Bob Bolling, and many more.
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

$49.99 is a lot to spend on a book, and while I really dig Archie I had low expectations for this book. IDW's & Craig Yoe's last book, the Art of Steve Ditko was an enormous disappointment. 6 pages of articles, then a bunch of reprints of public domain Ditko work. Yawn, they saw me coming.
This fantastic HC couldn't be any more different. It's packed with tons of information, never before seen artwork, beautifully packaged, brilliantly laid out, smartly written. Wow - this thing is a work of art unto itself. Easily worth the price - you'll learn a ton and enjoy yourself doing so. My hats off to you Craig Yoe & IDW you should both be proud! Hope this wins all kinds of awards this year, it certainly deserves it!
