The stunning conclusion arrives! Batman and Robin, along with the help of Deadman, try to defend Gotham City against the onslaught of Black Lanterns. But how do you defeat an enemy whose only goal is to feed off the emotions of a city and eat the hearts of all that stand in their way? Prepare for the answer from writer Peter J. Tomasi (GREEN LANTERN CORPS, THE MIGHTY) and up-and-comer Ardian Syaf!
Date Available: 10/14/2009
BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

A great comic for those who want to get caught up with the Blackest Night storyline, and enjoy fine art by Adrian Syaf, too. The backstory information itself was worth it, getting me caught up on the current state of the Batman universe, with the added bonus of seeing the Deadman in action (one of my early comics I ever read had him in it; nice twist here, too). The Blackest Night storyline, obviously, is in the middle here, so there’s more to come. If they are like this one, I may buy more.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
