BONUS REVIEW by Charles Fischer

The Metropolis Kid is back! Pre-52 Metropolis has been captured by Telos! Superman has been missing for over a year! Kingdom Come is coming & the only protector the city of tomorrow has is Kon-El. Superboy is handled very well in this issue. The themes presented are interesting; youthful impulsiveness & ideals weighted against the bitter pragmatism of age & loss. The Kingdom Come characters are not as interesting, glazed over by the events to come in the next issue. Follow-through will ultimately determine if Convergence Superboy is a gem or a turd.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
