 With the absence of Clara, I feared that the story and concept would suffer (Which would not bode well for the next series!) However, writer George Mann does what many of the television series writers haven't done. The Doctor on his own is handled well and gives the Doctor's personality a bit of an even keel. All in all a better than expected start to a new storyline! I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
