If you were one of those who were disappointed by the recent wave of Kirby-stalgic products that swamped the racks of late, this is a book you at least want to open up and peruse. Matt Kindt writes like a subdued, decipherable Grant Morisson with Trevor Hairsine providing a great balance between the Cosmic and the mundane in the art. Ultimates is over, Silver Surfer stopped this week, and the guy on the cover of Eternity #1 is holding a scepter capped with Sputnik. The only way it could be better is if a telepathic Russian dog showed up. Highly recommended for those who long to soar the spaceways, seekers of the Source Wall, and fans of early Russian space probes. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
