VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by MARK MILLAR Pencils & Cover by BRYAN HITCH

Dear Readers, you have our word that nothing this lame happens inside this very special Christmas issue. Yours sincerely, Mark and Bryan. Part 1 (of 2).
Date Available: 02/25/2009
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

I've been enjoying the FF run, not Ultimates quality, but good. In fact I wasn't quite sure why I wasn't completely loving it, until fellow reviewer Gary Owens put his finger on it. Millar has been trying to top each issue with a 'larger threat' or 'enormous disaster' so much so, that this issue brought a VERY MUCH NEEDED BREATHER. It's not as lame as eating Christmas dinner for 24 pages, but we get a chance to finally see some decent character interaction, and slower developing plot lines. I'm tired of the Universe is going to be destroyed - not just ours - but all of them! Oh no! I wish the team would do more issues like this one, or at the very least give us one of these every 3 or 4 months....
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
