**spoiler warning**
Was it worth the hype? I think not. A death reflecting his existence: clichéd. I know that's harsh, but Hickman's run has been so enjoyable, and this just seemed so pointless. It would have been so much more poetic if Ben, who recently returned to human form, was killed due to this weakness. The one time he enjoys a regular existence, exempt from his monstrous form, and that's when it kills him - beautiful. But that's not what we got. No poetic moment, just "tell him this is where i made my last stand". And we don't even see the actual last stand; we have to wait another issue for that. LAME. Too much talky talk: show me, don't tell me. And it was set up as quickly as he died, leaving me still trying to figure out what the heck happened. On the other hand there were a few amazing moments between Sue and Namor which redeemed the purchase. So read it for the death, but stop and enjoy the Sue moments. And she decks the crap outta Namor, which was awesome. But it will cost you an extra buck, because Marvel needs you to pay for that stupid black bag.
