Anyways, this is a short, fun story with the titular mice engaged in a “Scorpion and the Frog” style fable about the virtue of intelligence triumphing over physical threats. David Petersen’s art, as always, is gorgeous. Clean lines and well-rendered, realistic colors play to the story’s strengths.
