If the Steranko-esque cover isn’t enough to grab your gaze then I’m not sure what will! Seriously, Dave Johnson’s cover is stunning and captures the spirit of the comic in one piece of art. Ennis and Parlov reunite for the first time since PunisherMax to bring you a glimpse into the life of Fury circa 1954, Indochina. The art, oh lord the art, it just makes me giddy!! And of course Ennis BRINGS IT, his love of the character seeps through the pages and you just absorb the story. Did the story knock me outta my seat? Not exactly. Was the conflict the craziest most alien-punching conflict? Nope. What this comic brings you is heart and soul, pure unabashed LOVE of NICK FURY and the history that that name insinuates. “Over the years, I’ve found that liquor helps”.
