This debut issue was substantially better than any other Guardians related title with a Grounded banner (not that Star Lord was bad per se, just...meh), even though it would be best described as decompressed storytelling. The art was better than average, looking as though the artist used a vaguely manga-like style, not because they had to due to any deficiency, but because they're really good with it. Maybe highly recommended...eventually.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
