Gore #6 (2011)

$3.50
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Demons invade the Carnival at Venice. These horrible nightmare-reflections of beloved fairytale characters are determined to tear a hole from their twisted world to ours. Demon Hunter Gabriel must force the demoness Cinderella, monster Little Mermaid, and countless others back through the portal before the last night of Carnival - else no one will live happily ever after! TBA
Date Available: 05/30/2012
BONUS REVIEW by John Doc Schaefer

Our friends over at GG Studios continue to bring their weird take on fairy tales to a gore filled new level. In a real world filled with (2) new Snow White movies, Grimm and Once Upon A Time on the television, and Zenescope's empire of legendary characters, one would think that an italian import would be unnecessary. However, Gore fits nicely and quietly inbetween all this. The storyline is as complicated as Once Upon A Time and the women of Gore are just as sexy as the Zenescope girls (but in a strange italian way) and artist Emilio Laiso has no problem with showing the severed head of the mayor flying through a window! The trick is finding back issues. The storyline isn't the easiest to follow so you really need to start with issue #1 but not many places were willing to order big numbers on a new independant book from overseas. Hard to find but worth reading.
