With some new faces on the team, it might be time for the Guardians to have a little team-building vacation. Or, you know, they could keep fighting alien warlords and galactic empires. Guess they'll have to plan that team-building retreat for next month.
Date Available: 7/30/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

This is the 'We're getting the band back together.' issue of Guardians. Timed for the movie, everyone featured on a team poster for GOTG appears in this issue as well. That's all nice, as is the issue, with nice being operative word. Nick Bradshaw's art is clean. That's nice. Michael Avon Oeming makes a guest art appearance, where he does the nice thing and adapts his very personal style to better fit the book. Bendis' script has some moments to make you think 'Wow...that was nice.' Nothing really important happens, no major missteps either. After last issue, that's nice too.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
