Hellboy in Hell #6 (2012) $4.50 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W/A) Mike Mignola (CA) Mike Mignola, Dave Stewart Hellboy revisits an old vampire acquaintance in the bowels of Hell.
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
For as much as I love Richard Corben and Duncan Fegredo, Mignola is the best artist for his own writing. Come spend an evening playing cards with the Vampire of Prague. You'll meet him, the map-makers of Hell, the minister to the damned, and learn the long term consequences winning fairly can mete out. It's clear Mignola is re-drawing pages again as there is artwork dated to 2013 in the book, but they glow in composition and value, in texture and timing. This issue, like #5, works pretty well as a stand alone. If you're afraid of 20 years of continuity, jump back to the beginning with 'Seed of Destruction'(vol.1). You'll be in a glorious Hell in no time. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
