Honey West and the Cat #1 (2013)

$4.50
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Trina Robbins
(A) Silvestre Szilagyi

Two cult TV icons heat it up together for the first time! Ex-cat burglar and aerialist Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat is back for the first time in 45 years! He puts his skills to good use as a professional bodyguard - primitive and in love with danger! Now he teams up with TV's first lead-female private eye. In 'Death in the Desert', 1960's mob infested Las Vegas, they investigate a series of accidents - but will the attraction between the two cause the case to overheat?
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Honey West is back and this time she's brought a friend. In late 1966, Robert Loggia was proving that a cat burglar could be a good guy as T.H.E. Cat. (Heck, he even got his own comics series from Dell! Special bonus fun fact to amaze you friends... the photo image used on the photo cover of this comic is actually the revers image of the original 1967 Dell photo cover!)With a combo like that could things get any better. Heck yea! When you let Trina Robbins write it and Silvestre Szilagyi draw it! That's how.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
