VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Brandon Thomas
(A) Juan Gedeon, Frank Martin

Zhia Malen thought she'd fought her very last war, until she learned her planet was targeted for occupation… by a desperate world called Earth. The people of Earth will be told that her arrival on their planet means invasion; these are lies, this is retaliation. Skybound's newest original series by BRANDON THOMAS (The Many Adventures of Miranda Mercury), JUAN GEDEON (Ghost Racers), and FRANK MARTIN (EAST OF WEST) will show you that survival isn't just a human instinct…
Date Available: 07/13/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Science fiction in comics can be tough because some huge conceptual stuff can be really hard to boil down into monthly bite-sized chunks. This was a good first issue, albeit a slow paced one, doling out just enough information to be intriguing. However, much like the majority of new Science fiction oriented books currently on the racks, this series might read substantially better in the collected format.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
