(W) Tom Taylor (A) Bruno Redondo (CA) Jheremy Raapack The best-selling prequel to the hit videogame picks up right where it left off! Year one is over-now, year two begins. The death of one of their own has divided Earth's protectors as hero turns against hero. As Superman's iron grip on the world tightens, at the edge of the galaxy, fear approaches... Date Available: 1/15/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
DC's superhero 'Hostel' continues after last year's broken bat and Superman murder spree. There's some deftly handled character work between Ollie, Diana, and Hal to open the book. Then we're at Ollie's grave where Clark feels he can show up, say sorry, and walk away scratch free. He doesn't. Add broken friendships to broken backs, and a surprisingly graphic murder in space between characters we haven't seen in the first 12 issues, and what we get is more of more of the same. You want a positive? Sure. The art by Bruno Redondo is clean and clear, with an eye for facial expressions. Bored now. I give it 4 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
