With Batman out of action, a grieving Black Canary begins to assemble her own team to combat Superman's new world order. BONUS REVIEW by Allie Alleman

This is the best DC book on the shelf right now. Every single issue has been entertaining, intense, and intelligent. Plunging our favorite DC heroes into a very realistic world of consequences makes for a brand new story. This issue in particular weighs in on the recent Congress shutdown, and how things would go if godlike humanoids could interfere. In every situation, Tom Taylor finds a way to make each character's personality shine, and he kills and maims freely in a parallel earth with no continuity, making for nailbiting or heartbreaking moments. What can I say, this comic is impressive. Read this book, then go play the video game.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
