Captain Britain Cover by JOE JUSKO
Trapped in the past, Iron Man races the clock to save the future from annihilation. But his past self is in a drunken stupor, and Tony's fellow Avengers, dismiss his story as an alcoholic delusion. The keys to saving Tony's future? Hank Pym...exiled Avenger and one of the Avengers' greatest enemies: Ultron! Christos Gage (AVENGERS ACADEMY) teams with comics legends LEE WEEKS and TOM PALMER - inker of more issues of Avengers than anyone else - to bring you an all-out epic in the mighty Marvel manner! THEN! Tony's next stop is Captain Britain's London, a totalitarian state bent on a new, 'cleaner' future. Rob Williams teams with Ben Oliver (Ms. Marvel) as Iron Man and Captain Britain fight for freedom! 48 PGS.

BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

First read Iron Age Alpha, you don't have to, but it's good, and it sets up this 3 issue mini-series. Tony Stark sees the world destroyed and has to travel back in time regaining parts of Dr. Dooms time machine to try and save everyone in present day. Lead story is written by Christos Gage, who's named I'd heard but work I'd ignored. Time for me to dig up ABSOLUTION from Avatar and give it a whirl. It's modern day Tony in 1980's (see Drunk) Tony and trying to use his old armor again. Stunning art from Lee Weeks (damn, he's great) this is a much over looked story that's worth a read.
