• 'Farewell,' by Paul Levitz and Joe Kubert-a Sgt. Rock tale that's unlike any you've read before! • Two more tales from Joe Kubert: 'The Biker' and 'Spit.' • Plus: Sam Glanzman unveils a new tale of U.S.S. Stevens, and the latest 'Angel and the Ape' chapter by Brian Buniak.
Date Available: 02/27/2013
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

ATTENTION, PLEASE! All WWII vets, historians, and anyone who loves a good story with terrific artwork. This is a must read! From the first Sgt. Rock tale about the heartwarming tale of a father and a son completing a mission for the young man's grandfather (I found this story especially moving as I myself had to undertake a few missions for my grandfather after he passed away.) Glanzman's installment of the USS Stevens is an insightful look at Pearl Harbor. Kubert's Inner Thoughts are a great look back into comic history in the man's own words. And the fifth installment of Angel and the Ape does Bob Oksner proud. All in all, this books showcases all that is best in anthology books. Even if they only last 6 issues (sob).

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
