Yeah, the hero keeps finding himself in an ultra cool world inhabited by ultra cool living versions of his toys, but he’s completely lost control of his reality-view in the process. The art, as in issue one, is beautiful and chaotic at the same time. And that’s what this book has to offer: truly beautiful chaos. Although I don’t understand why any child would fight against the visions of robots and warriors Joe’s been blessed with, I have no problem following his struggle. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
