Date Available: 10/20/2010 BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON  I really enjoyed KICK ASS 1 and even the KICK ASS movie, and I like MARK MILLAR's writing. But honestly, I wasn't looking forward to this book, I'd recently grown weary of Millar's constant use of swearing to try and seem hip or relevant, and the non-stop over the top violence isn't shocking or funny when you've grown to expect it. Amazingly I ended up really enjoying KICK ASS vol. 2 #1 and can't wait for #2 to come out! Millar did not simply repeat himself in this book and I didn't know what to expect with each page turn. Character development, quiet moments and everything! A well rounded fully developed comic lies within! Certainly worth giving a shot! I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
