VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Grant Morrison
(A/CA) Dan Mora
Klaus and Lady Dagmar's romantic and tragic past is revealed.
Date Available: 03/23/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Christmas, when it works, is magic. Pure, unassuming, and blatantly delightful. Somehow, Grant Morrison has captured that magic in a book that features about six murders and a poisoning. He's called this his 'All Star Superman', and in this issue his origin is coming into focus by clearing up specifics about his past. The art by Dan Mora perfectly suits the material, from the bleak to the warmly innocent. Played on a scale that mixes the spirit of 'Elf' with the scope and violence of 'Game of Thrones', this is an almost impossible melding of worlds that is simply charming.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
