 Light and fun, with a hint of ominous import. I don't have any other way to describe a book that features a multi-block chase w/ a dinosaur carrying a girl flying a drone like a carrot on a stick that also features a group of murderous cavepeople and genocidal overtones of the terrigan mist mutant elimination. Honestly, it probably wouldn't work if it wasn't light. Helping w/ the lightness is the art by Natacha Bustos. The odd thing is, the art is also my biggest complaint (a conundrum, I know). Co-writer Amy Reeder is an artist as well, and her covers make me wish she'd just draw the book. I guess beggars can't be choosers. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
