It's a great IMMORTAL IRON FIST tale that just happens to be in New Avengers. Some of the best art I've seen from Mike Deodato in a LONG time and a not surprisingly seemingly unnecessary AVX tie-in book. I say seemingly as this story takes place in the past, evidently the Phoenix has visited earth before choosing Jean Grey as it's host. Perhaps it will become very relevant to the current story, but most likely not. Important tie-in or not, it was still a very entertaining comic that made me LONG for the return of the Immortal Iron Fist comic! 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
