Meanwhile, Captain America, Gwenpool, and more are…not quite themselves these days. Featuring stories by NICK SPENCER (SECRET EMPIRE, CAPTAIN AMERICA) CHRISTOPHER HASTINGS (GWENPOOL, VOTE LOKI) JAY FOSGITT (My Little Pony, Bodie Troll) and many, many more! Rated T+
Date Available: 11/15/2017
BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

While the whole idea here was torn straight from my early days, I had every intention of granting this puppy a 10. But while the stories are humorous and allow the writers and artists to make fun of recent Marvel trends, this reads more like the old What The? issues of the 90's than the classic Not Brand Echh. And even though our beloved Forbush Man is back no of the old cast is here. Charlie America, Mighty Sore, the Fantastical Four, Silver Burper are nowhere to be seen. And while the assembled artists and writers do a fine job, I'd have loved to have seen one or two pages reminding us of the good old days. The Watcher is right when he points out that satire books don't really sell well so a shout out to us older guys might have been a better plan.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
