THE SELL-OUT AND CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED COMIC SERIES RETURNS! CONTINUES THE STORY DIRECTLY AFTER THE DEVASTATING EVENTS OF PENNY DREADFUL'S SEASON THREE TV FINALE! Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) finds himself unable to move on. As he searches desperately for meaning in a world without Vanessa (Eva Green), ancient words echo across the centuries, and he is called on once again to take up arms against the creatures crawling out of the night.

BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

Penny Dreadful fans rejoice! Titan's Volume 2 is a wonderful follow up to the series. Many of the themes and subplots are continued and many of our favorite characters are back. Picking up several months after the last episode, Mr. Lyle's trip to Egypt (hinted at during the last season) has turned up a new evil and of course no one will listen. Kaetenay, Dr. Steward, and the Bride are all back. But most importantly, the tone of the show is wonderfully reflected in these pages. Our heroes both old and new are still in a grey world where there is no positive. Every victory leads to a new terror and all looks bleak. The only problem with this book is the fact that you really need to have watched the series to understand the who's and what's here so it might be a little confusing at first for reader unfamiliar with the show. Luckily, all 3 seasons are available on DVD and I'm sure some streaming service. So binge watch to your heart's content then reread the book. Totally worth it!

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
