Powers Bureau #11 (2013)

Powers Bureau #11 (2013)

$3.95
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Brian Michael Bendis
Art & Cover by Michael Avon Oeming
In a game-changer for the entire series, Special Agent Christian Walker must choose between his humanity or powers - with a cost! Every once in a while something happens in this book that makes you say, 'How are they going to get out of that one?' This is one of those times! From the writer of your favorite Marvel comics including ALL-NEW X-MEN and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY comes another shocking chapter in this cops-and-capes odyssey!
Date Available: 9/10/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Awesome. Crushing. Inspiring. Believe the hype. Every piece of Bendis hyperbole that has been used to try and push this issue is validated. A true 'game-changer' to steal their words, but everything you think you know about the Powers universe is turned on its head, has its arm torn off, is flown towards the sun, and dropped back to Earth with complete indifference for what the consequences might be. If Bendis sticks the landing, the wait will have been worth it. Did I mention 'awesome' yet?

Can we get more than three issues a year though? Please?

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
