The Punisher wraps up his series doing what he does best:punishing. The current arc, featuring a corrupt federal level government official, has been the best of Nathan Edmondson's run. Sadly, its the weakest issue of this story. It's nice to see Frank cleared of agendas and allies, but much of his motivation here is told, not illustrated. The easy example of what I mean by this would be in T2 where Sarah explains why the terminator would be a good father figure for John. If he really was, you wouldn't need to tell us, and if Frank is going to 'punish some ****s', all he has to do is do just that. The art by Mitch Gerads still feels like Goran Parlov lite, but he's loosened up a bit since the start of the series.

The ending is just that-an ending, with a finality that's going to be hard to get around unless there's some sort of 'Secret War' coming up, with an issue out on 5/6/15, with Frank having the best page in the book. I wouldn't know anything about that. Shh....

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
