MARK MILLAR & GREG CAPULLO join forces to create the smash hit sci-fi / fantasy story of the year: REBORN. Where do you go when you die? Not heaven or hell; somewhere else. Somewhere you have to fight to survive. Somewhere the people from the past are waiting for you-the good and the bad.
Date Available: 10/12/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

I think 'Respawn' might be as appropriate a name for this book as 'Reborn'. It combines elements of religion (some place after you die where you see everyone you loved again? How is that religious?) with other elements of religion (some place where people you loved are suffering and are happy to see you when you arrive because you can share their misery-how is that religious?) into one magic map where you automatically pop up after you die. This is both the good and bad news for Bonnie Black. Her situation has some excellent thoughts on 'the end' provided by Mark Millar, and lovely art mixing both Spawn and Zero Year from Greg Capullo. I don't want to say much more about this...it's really pretty good and you're going to want to see it for yourself. We can talk again next month.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
