VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Frank Miller, Steven Grant
(A) Korkut Öztekin
(CA) Declan Shalvey
Author(s): Frank Miller, Steven Grant FRANK MILLER'S VISION FOR ROBOCOP'S FINAL CHAPTER REVEALED! Frank Miller's incredible unproduced screenplay has been brought to life in this hardhitting Steven Grant (2 GUNS, PUNISHER: CIRCLE OF BLOOD) penned the adaptation. With all the brains, guts, and bullets that made the first film an instant classic, this is a comic event not to miss. The police force has disbanded. The people of Detroit have been evicted from their homes. ED209s and OCP officers run the streets. With OCP's vision for Delta City well underway, Robocop may be his city's last hope. This is Robocop's last stand, as it was always intended to be. Ask your retailer about the striking Mondo incentive variant cover by Jay Shaw!

BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

I don't even think Nancy Allen could help us at this point. The problem with Robocop is that the first movie was really excellent. We really felt for poor old Alex as he tried to walk the straight and narrow while the world around him was boiling. Every time he hunted down one of those thugs who killed him, we cheered. But in true Hollywood fashion, they beat the horse dead. Whether he was taking down Cain or cyborg samurai, the charm was gone. The longer the spin offs went (Boom! isn't the first to give this character a spin.) the worse it got. The world of Robocop should be allowed to crash and burn. Now granted it is precisely these type of "no hope for mankind worlds" where Frank Miller can really get the mojo flowing. But I'd rather see him get his teeth into something with a bit more flavor.

I give it 3 out of 10 Grahams
