Rumors of a giant bat-creature bring Scooby and the gang on the run - but Batman and Robin are already on the trail of their old foe, the monstrous Man-Bat. Before long, the crooks behind a fake bat-creature will come face-to-face with the real thing… with the good guys caught in the middle! Don't miss the start of this new, bimonthly series!
Date Available: 11/20/2013
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Remember when Scooby Doo and the gang ran into the Harlem Globetrotters? Or how about Phyllis Diller? Jerry Reed? Dick Van Dyke? Mama Cass? Sonny and Cher? Johnny Bravo? Well, if you doo (get it?) then this book is for you! Flashing back to the terrific Scooby Doo movies of the early 1970's, issue 1 gives us a the most popular team up ever with the return of Batman and Robin! Chock full of great pun humor and cute tie in references and gags. This is just a reminder of why Scooby Doo is great. It makes me wonder though, if DC prints the Scooby Doo book, could Scooby and the gang meet up with other DC heroes like when Jerry Lewis met Wonder Woman and the Flash back in the late 60's/early 70's? Hmmmmmmm?

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
