BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Bad news everyone, I still can't stand the New 52 universe. But I would never let that stop me from reading an issue of Secret Origins. I have literally read every issue of this title since it's creation in the 1970's. And although I have no great affection for these incarnations of the characters these stories were excellent. The love and affection of the backup characters in these stories are well thought out and genuine. Whether it be the true parental feelings of Jor-el and Lara or Jonathan and Martha or the compassion of Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon, these tales have heart. It's just a shame that DC felt the need to stick it to me for $4.99!

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
