 Here's a pleasant surprise. Big changes abound in the Firefly universe even as familiar elements move closer to what we know. Big Changes? Zoe-prisoner, River-full of Miranda level secrets and a penchant for blackmail, Jayne-crewing on a different ship, Mal and Inara- totally doing it. Familiar elements? A menace from the show returns...in comic form! The Alliance-chasing Serenity, Jayne-giant idiot, but back on board Serenity, everybody- looking for help in all the wrong places. Georges Jeanty's art fits at least as well here as it did on 'Buffy', and seems to be a bit reinvigorated with all the new toys to draw. Remember kids, if you don't want to be Jubal Late, be Jubal Early. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
