(W) Jason Aaron (A/CA) Jason Latour NEW STORY ARC The Summer of the Bastards begins with a new arc, as the Runnin' Rebs are gearing up for the big homecoming game against arch-rival Wetumptka County. Date Available: 06/17/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Brad Parkkonen
The new story arc for SB's follows the Sheriff and gets into the nature of his role in town: an apathetic man with an unfulfilling present riding the coattails of his beloved past, of a man who peaked in high school. This issue pulls no punches and delivers the depressing uniquely southern noir story the series is famous for; it really hit home because, unlike Coach Boss' past and present, Sheriff Hardy (no last name given yet)'s history is something that can be related to more commonly. I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
