BONUS REVIEW by HARVEY WALRAVEN

This was my 1st time reading the new Star Trek in comic book form and to be honest it reads just like the old Star Trek. Kirk still acts like Kirk, McCoy acts like McCoy , Spock acts like Spock .These three characters you could have easily replaced with the old counterparts. Where this splits off into the new Star trek is with Uhura, nice to see her get a bit of screen time other than saying “ Call coming in on subspace from Star Fleet sir”. Story is pretty standard Star Trek fair and the art is average at best. With a whole new Star Trek movie universe to explore it’s sad that 99% of the book could have been plopped down in a Gold Key Star Trek adventure. Phasers on stun for this one kids.
