BONUS REVIEW by JOHN SCHAEFER

Whenever one of the big comic companies brings back a title, it raises my hopes that the comic readers of today might get a taste of the fond memories of what I was reading back in the day. DC/Veritigo's Strange Adventures is the latest entry in this catagory and unfortunately it fails as most of the past attempts have. It's not that it is bad, it just is. It has no surprises, has no real stand out points. It is simply just another anthology book. The best part of this book is the nostalgic look back at DC's old sci-fi character, Ultra the Multi-Alien. These touching 8 pages plucked at my heart-strings but for a whopping $7.99, I need more than 8 pages.
