Trees #14

$2.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Warren Ellis
(A/CA) Jason Howard
Trees grow on dirt full of dead things.
Date Available: 08/03/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Trees is a book covering just about every societal issue we're actually facing with the added bonus of showing what that would all look like if we were in the middle of a quiet alien invasion. Guess what? We wouldn't all rally together, there would be tons of corpses on all sides relating to gender, poverty, immigration, science, law enforcement, and the military. AFTER all that, the survivors would still be facing the invasion part of the alien invasion, and they wouldn't know it because it looks like bad gardening. This is a dense book in the hands of Warren Ellis and Jason Howard.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
