Years ago, the Killjoys fought against the tyrannical megacorporation Better Living Industries, costing them their lives, save for one-the mysterious Girl. Today, the followers of the original Killjoys languish in the Desert while BLI systematically strips citizens of their individuality. As the fight for freedom fades, it's left to the Girl to take up the mantle and bring down the fearsome BLI or else join the mindless ranks of Bat City!

BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

In the advent of movie rights deals, every time a new independent book hits the stands, the mindless masses come ap@sh%t and it irritates the heck out of me. And after reading this, my first reaction was "What the heck am I reading?" This storyline is pretty out there. But it's quirky like the Buckaroo Banzai movie was. And I admit that it has started to grow on me. The characters are interesting and the storyline is strange enough to be fascinating. This one is an attention grabber.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
