Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #5 (2015 1st series)

$4.50
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Ryan North (A/CA) Erica Henderson
The breakout character of 2015 continues her one-woman crusade against injustice and jerks in this standalone issue, a perfect jumping-on point for new readers!
These TAILS of the Squirrel Girl will show you the Marvel Universe's most powerful super hero from a bunch of brand-new perspectives, several of them QUITE ASTONISHING.
This comic is actually a bunch of minicomics in one, giving it definitely the #1 most-comics-per-actual-physical-comic value in stores today!!

Date Available: 05/06/2015

USG #5 is the most fun and gonzo yet! It's like that classic Batman Animated Series where the kids sit around talking about their different understandings of Batman, except this is a group of tourists held hostage in the Statue of Liberty's head talking about who they think Squirrel Girl is. The best gag was the introduction of Squirrel Earl, among many other alternate SGs in the Squirrel-verse. Super silly and hyper meta, this is a book for everyone and a great jumping on issue if you can't find the much sought after first 4 issues. RECOMMENDED.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
