VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

From writer RYAN O'SULLIVAN (Turncoat, The Evil Within, Warhammer 40,000) and illustrator PLAID KLAUS (Turncoat), comes the story of Ana and Gabe, the last two humans left alive in the galaxy. They're low on fuel, they're low on food, and they're low on psychedelic space froot, but they're still determined to make it to the promised land: hippy-paradise, super-planet Euphoria. This is the story of their journey, the friends and enemies they made along the way, and how the universe responded to those who dared to live freely within it. 'Beautiful, drugged, and hilarious sci-fi from an alternate universe where the only Captain America anyone cares about is the one in Easy Rider.'-KIERON GILLEN
Date Available: 11/22/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

The true story of two drug addled humans, stealing fuel and riding a high through as they're hunted by an as yet unknown entity for as yet an unknown reason.

I'm not the intended audience for this book. I'm not a drug guy, and the two main characters are high almost all the time, and the time they aren't is when they're stealing. It was engaging though. One of the leads is genuinely unpleasant, which is the trait that was appealing about the higher of the two. It felt like what Fear Agent (a great Rick Remender sci-fi yarn) would have been with drugs. The art by Plaid Klaus (you'll see him this Scottish Christmas) is very loosey goosey in ways that have an appealing Tony Moore/Jerome Opena/Shawn Murphy sort of way. It's odd. I liked it.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
