What a delightful surprise. Walking Dead #127 is a double sized window into the future. We're a full two years after the end of the 'All Out War' story line, and many of the improvements Rick argued for have come to pass. This is the first issue of Walking Dead to even include party planning. That should tell you something. Charlie Adlard's art looks reinvigorated to me-maybe there's something to be said for adding the rustic and rural into the mix. This is all a giant change, and is just the surprise needed to show Kirkman can still keep the most wary of us on our toes. This is a major issue after a major storyline. Jump on now, so you don't have to wait to get caught up after Vol. 21 comes out in GN form.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
