The hyper-detailed combat between badass freedom fighters and giant f***ing robots begins with a spectacular 40-PAGE FIRST ISSUE for the regular price of just $2.99!
Date Available: 10/07/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

So we FINALLY get someone who understands that there will be a grand US/Canadian war, and its someone who says the U.S. are the bad guys? Oh, BKV, first you kill all the men, they were dead all along on 'Lost', and now this?

All kidding aside, Vaughn sets up the conflict- U.S. vs Canada over water shortages here- with the same clarity he's brought to Y The Last Man and Saga. That's not a surprise. What is a surprise is that the art by Steve Skroce isn't up to snuff for what it needs to show. Machines and architecture aren't his strong suits on his best days, and the art here isn't among those days by a long shot. Hopefully, he's just rusty after years away from the industry. I don't know if people will want to stay in this world if its hard to look at for reasons other than moral quandries.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
