Wolverine #58 (2003)

$2.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by MARC GUGGENHEIM Pencils by HOWARD CHAYKIN Cover by ARTHUR SUYDAM
Last issue ended with Wolverine reduced to a brain dead vegetable. You'd think that was the end of Wolverine's adventures, but it's actually just the beginning of Wolverine's greatest challenge yet. Guest-starring Iron Man and Dr. Strange! Marc (Blade, Flash) Guggenheim and Howard Chaykin bring you the second chapter in the story we had to call "Logan Dies."

"A surprisingly straight-forward issue of The Wolverine, full of fun guest-stars and a quick explanation of the overall thrust of this arc. It’s just a shame that writer Guggenheim introduces such a far-fetched idea (even for The Wolverine) to explain The Wolverine’s ability to, basically, come back from the dead. We’ll see if he can make it work. Otherwise, this can join ‘Gwen and Norman’ in Marvel’s quickly overflowing pile of ‘You Took It Too Far’ submissions."
